Use cases
Client status pages for agencies
Vigila lets an agency run a status page per client site: 3 pages on Team ($39 a month) or 10 on Business ($79), each on the client's own domain if you like. HTTP checks open a draft incident when a site fails, and you approve every update clients and their customers see.
What you need during an incident
- Tell a client and their customers what's happening when their site is down.
- Notice outages before the client calls.
- Keep each client's page separate, on their own domain.
How Vigila does it
- One status page per client, with its own components, subscribers, Slack channel and custom domain (Team and Business).
- HTTP checks with thresholds open a draft incident on that client's page.
- Facts in, draft out: the update says what you've confirmed, and nothing goes out until you approve it.
Limits worth knowing
- Team allows 3 pages and Business 10; more clients need more workspaces.
- Subscribers are counted across all your pages.
What you pay
Starter $19, Team $39, Business $79 a month, with a 7-day trial. Setting up and publishing your first update is free. Unlimited team members on every plan.
Questions
Can each client have their own domain?
Yes, on Team and Business: each page can be served on its own domain, like status.clientsite.com, once its DNS record is in place.
Does Vigila publish anything automatically?
No. Alerts and checks can open a draft incident, and Vigila drafts updates from your facts, but a person approves every update before it reaches the page or any subscriber.
