An internal status page for IT teams

Vigila gives an IT team a private status page staff open with a password or a single-use link to their company email (Business, $79 a month), outage updates drafted from the facts IT has confirmed, and emails to staff who subscribe. Nothing is published or sent until someone in IT approves it.

What you need during an incident

  • Tell staff that the VPN, email or Wi-Fi is down, and what to do meanwhile.
  • Stop the flood of tickets asking the same question.
  • Keep the page private to your organization.

How Vigila does it

  • A private page opened by password, or by a single-use link sent to addresses at your company's domains.
  • Facts in, draft out, approve: the update says what IT has confirmed.
  • Staff subscribe by email (with confirmation) or follow a Slack channel.

Limits worth knowing

  • Private pages need the Business plan; on other plans a private page is visible only to your signed-in team.
  • No single sign-on for page visitors; access is by password or email-domain link.

What you pay

Starter $19, Team $39, Business $79 a month, with a 7-day trial. Setting up and publishing your first update is free. Unlimited team members on every plan.

Questions

Can we use it for incident emails without a page?

Yes. Choose "Incident emails only" when you set up: the page isn't served on the web, and updates go to subscribers by email, webhook and Slack.

Does Vigila publish anything automatically?

No. Alerts and checks can open a draft incident, and Vigila drafts updates from your facts, but a person approves every update before it reaches the page or any subscriber.
